DESIGNED AND TAUGHT BY Lauren Chaitoff, E-RYT, and nationally certified Pilates and yoga instructor, PYB is a fusion mind-body program using the physical systems of Pilates and yoga. Both practices incorporate breath-work, focus and concentration resulting in a clarity and centeredness not commonly found in an average "gym routine." Yoga and Pilates have the power to change your body to become  stronger and more limber, center your mind to create calmness and open your heart to its unbound potential. PYB workouts provide an excellent form of holistic exercise that reconnect the body and mind, motivating you to embrace your physical strength and feed your inner light.

Pyb Pilates

PILATES IS A FULL body workout that simultaneously stretches and strengthens. Focused is placed on postural alignment, and emphasis is on strengthening the “Powerhouse” (abdominal muscles , low back, pelvic floor, hips and glutes) in the interest of stabilizing and lengthening the spine, improving balance and overall core strength. Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates in the 1930s as a form of physical rehabilitation and is often recommended for people recovering from physical injury or disability due to its central focus on alignment and precise movements.

A FUSION OF CLASSICAL Pilates sprinkled with innovative, intrinsic movements, PYB Pilates emphasizes alignment, precise movement, mindful breathing and positive thinking to unite the mind-body connection. PYB Pilates is the perfect supplemental practice for someone with a workout regimen consisting of heavy lifting and intense cardio.

PYB Yoga

YOGA IS A PRACTICE that aims to unite the mind, the body and the spirit. Through the physical postures (asana) your body will become stronger and more limber. And as a result of conscious breathing (pranayama) you will learn to quiet the chatter in the mind. When the body and mind are in harmony you are able to clearly recognize your true self: a self of love and peace.

LAUREN'S STYLE OF YOGA is a Vinyasa Flow with emphasis placed on alignment. She incorporates music, humor and aromatherapy into her classes. One can often hear Lauren reminding her students to listen and honor where their bodies are at in the present moment. Lauren encourages the balance of working up to your physical edge while also treating your body with gentleness and knowing that it is okay to hold back at times. Yoga is a nonjudgmental and personal practice, which can change day-to-day. Some days our energy may be strong and powerful and other days we may feel more delicate and tired. Neither one is better than the other, and part of the practice is simply remembering it is always a practice. Lauren is honored to be of service to those who are embarking on their yoga journey, whether for the first time or if they are just coming back to their practice.

LAUREN TAILORS PILATES AND yoga sessions to meet individual needs and capabilities. Through modifications, hands-on adjustments and props, Lauren will make sure you are working to your limit while ensuring your workout remains safe and productive.

SMALL GROUP AND SEMI-PRIVATE classes are available upon request.  Small group classes still allow for individualized attention and can be a more cost-effective way to practice.

  • No package refunds

  • 1 session: $150

  • 5 sessions: $650*

  • 10 sessions: $1,250*

*5 session package carries a 10 week expiration; 10 session package carries a 5 month expiration.
